Welcome

I was born in Weißenfels in 1978 and lived there for 20 years. In October 1998 I started my studies on Computational Visualistics at the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg and received my Diplom degree in fall 2003 and my doctoral degree in November 2007.

I'm with the Fraunhofer IFF in Magdeburg as a research engineer in the business unit of testing an measuring technologies working in the areas of Computer Vision and industrial 2D/3D metrology. The main focus of my work is on efficient 3D point cloud analysis. A special emphasis is on the transformation of founded scientific analyses into practical industrial applications and prototypic optical measuring systems.
